Welcome to The New Anchorage Hotel, ideally located right in the heart of the ancient seaside town of Whitby. We offer spacious, clean and welcoming accommodation suitable for singles, couples and families alike. Whitby is the ideal destination for a holiday or short break. With its narrow streets and picturesque buildings, the town is famous for its fish and chips and great food in up market restaurants.

Whitby has an excellent selection of beaches suitable for bathing, water sports and walking. Venture further out and you will find less crowded beaches, ideal for a spot of sunbathing. Spend an afternoon exploring the historic abbey, or take the children to the Captain Cook Memorial Museum or the Dracula Experience. There are an excellent variety of restaurants, bars and cafés close by.

Additional Information

We have 4 suites with king size beds, the bathrooms have separate showers and roll top baths. All have stunning seaviews. There are 3 double ensuite rooms larger than average, all our rooms have 32in flat screen TV, tea and coffee making facilities, hair dryers and irons! Our sea view rooms are equipped with binoculars. Guests have access to the hotel and rooms at all times.

We have sea view rooms available at a small premium, with our seaview doubles priced between £90 and £110 and standard doubles between £70 and £80. Our sea view rooms are also equipped with binoculars, to make the experience even more magical!
