Under new ownership. Val & Peter Vardy have now taken over Ellies Guest House and look forward to welcoming guests old and new. Ellies is a family run guesthouse located in the West Cliff area of Whitby, North Yorkshire. We are approximately 150 yards from the sea front and 400 yards from the harbour and the majority of Whitby's tourist attractions. Our guesthouse is ideally situated for exploring the nearby North Yorkshire Moors, Scarborough, Filey and of course Whitby itself. Whatever your interests - walking, cycling, sea fishing, sightseeing, arts & crafts, business trip or simply a holiday, Ellie's Guesthouse offers a warm welcome, excellent accommodation and a hearty full English breakfast.

Our main objective is to provide our guest's with an inviting, comfortable and friendly environment that will aid their stay in Whitby. We have excellent wash facilities as well as a spacious communal dining area to ensure you enjoy your breakfast and get your day off to a good start. Breakfast Menu: chilled orange juice, tea, coffee, decaffeinated coffee, large selection of cereals followed by: Traditional Full English Breakfast: fried or scrambled egg, bacon, sausage, tomatoes, baked beans, mushrooms. For those with a smaller appetite: beans on toast, scrambled egg on toast, fried egg on toast or tomatoes on toast, followed by hot toast with a selection of preserves and marmalades.

All of our rooms are non-smoking and are decorated to a high standard, with remote colour television, hairdryers, towels,radio alarms, hospitality tray and complimentry toiletries in each room to ensure our guests are comfortable and enjoy their stay. All rooms are central heated. we have twin, double & family rooms available.

Parking 2011 - we can now offer our guests private, off street parking for weekend and school holidays. Ellie's Guesthouse now have a wireless broadband connection available to all guests - don't forget your laptop!! We operates a strict non smoking policy in all areas of the guesthouse.
