Georgian Estbek House Restaurant with Rooms is an AA Rosette award winning 4 Star accommodation dating from circa 1750. The property was a former Alum mines office and sits on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors in beautiful Sandsend village on the coast just north of Whitby. The 109 mile long Cleveland Way which encircles the North York Moors National Park is adjacent to the restaurant. Guests have easy access to Mulgrave woods, two nearby Mulgrave castles and the glorious beaches and coastal walking on this stretch of the Yorkshire Coast. Four beautifully appointed individual rooms with a unique Georgian style all displaying artwork by local artists. Three doubles and one twin bedded room. All rooms are inclusive of Flat Screen TV, Tea & Coffee making facilities, CD & Radio Alarm Clock and hairdryer plus complimentary guest pack in bathrooms. Largest room Alum features Georgian windows with Sandsend beach views, light wooden furniture, king size sleigh bed & ensuite luxury power shower.
