You can dine in our lovely conservatory restaurant with its delightful collection of ornamental clowns or in the recently extended and refurbished 'Oak Room' which has original oak-panelling and leaded-light windows. Our cosy bar features a unique collection of shoehorns and has a real fire, oak beams and an excellent choice of Yorkshire brewed hand-pulled ales. Some of our guests have claimed they have experienced the presence of a friendly ghost!!

Rooms Description

We have nine very comfortable and well-appointed en-suite rooms, a few of them featuring the original oak beams. Twin, Double, Four-Poster and Family rooms are available. Rooms on the ground floor have extra wide doors offering easy access. All rooms are equipped with Tea and Coffee making facilities, Clock/Radio, Colour Television and Electric Panel Heaters that can be individually adjusted. Each room is decorated in a cosy country cottage style to compliment the traditional style of the Inn and its surroundings. There a colourful spreads on the beds and lots of pictures on the wealls and knick-knacks on the tables.

We specialise in Short Breaks - cheaper deals are available for stays of 3 or more nights. Our 5 night DBB rate is particularly attractive - contact us for details. Romantic Breaks are offered which include a bottle of champagne, fresh flowers and chocolates. We specialise in catering for COELIACS. The majority of items on our menu are guaranteed to be GLUTEN-FREE. A number of Activity Breaks are offered throughout the year. Courses on Card-Making and Drawing are particularly popular.
