Choose from ten beautifully presented guest rooms all furnished with a feature bed, luxury ensuite and open fire. We are pleased to offer accommodation for solo travellers, couples and families with a delicious choice of breakfast served. The White Horse & Griffin also serves an excellent range of lunches and evening meals with local seafood a particular speciality.
Our ten bedrooms are all furnished in sumptuous style and are well equipped with a DVD/ CD player and tea/ coffee making facilities. Please note there is no TV reception at the hotel but we offer an extensive DVD library onsite for guest use. The style of the rooms make them particularly suitable for a romantic break and we are pleased to offer special two night deals and Dinner (or Lunch) Bed & Breakfast deals.
Guests can enjoy dining in front of the cosy Yorkshire Range in the Bistro or formal dining is available in the 'Red Room'. We also offer private dining rooms for parties & celebrations. A traditional Sunday Lunch is served at the hotel and restaurant alongside an excellent menu of seafood, traditional English dishes and special dishes for two to share. Our breakfast menu includes a Traditional English Breakfast option, light continental choices & a range of other breakfast meals including Whitby Kippers, smoked salmon & scrambled eggs, smoked haddock with poached egg, omelettes and kedgeree.
