For a true taste of the Yorkshire Dales, you won't find better than The White Lion Inn standing beside the cascading Cray Gill, by Buckden Pike, in the heart of one of the country's most beautiful National Parks. Original oak beams, stone-flagged floors and an open log fire create a warm and welcoming atmosphere in any season, and our accommodation is perfectly suited to leisure guests including walkers and cyclists looking to take advantage of the beautiful local scenery.

Our double and twin guest rooms here at the White Lion are all traditionally furnished. We have a selection of comfortable standard and premium bedrooms, and all are en-suite with hot beverage supplies. Our premium rooms include TVs, and all guests receive a full English breakfast on each morning of their stay. For other meals, our pub restaurant is open seven days a week between 12pm and 2pm, and between 6pm and 8.30pm. We serve delicious home-made food using fresh produce, and our Sunday lunches are always popular. Dine inside or outside, and enjoy our wide selection of non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks including hand-pulled local ales for a traditional Yorkshire experience.

Being ideally situated for Yorkshire Dales walkers, we're proud to be able to welcome your well-behaved dogs in our ground floor rooms. We can also welcome families, providing z-beds as required for an additional fee of £20 per night. In our restaurant we serve a selection of children's meals from sausage, egg and chips, chicken dippers or fish fingers to chilli con carne or our steak and mushroom casserole.
