The original course at Ganton Golf Club was designed in 1891 by Tom Chisholm of St Andrews. Since then, subsequent alterations have taken place throughout the course's history, and this is what makes it one of the finest courses in the UK. Golfers will find few better places to play golf than Ganton, and it provides the sternest of tests to all who play the game. The course has been recognised for its quality, and has hosted three major events during its time, the Ryder Cup in 1949, the Curtis Cup in 2000 and the Walker Cup in 2003.

We welcome all visiting golfers to Ganton, and tee times are usually available during the week and at weekends. The Clubhouse opens at 8:30 each day, and visitors will receive a warm and friendly welcome from resident golfers. Snacks can also be purchased throughout the day and evening meals can be arranged with the caterer. If you require some golfing equipment for the day, why not visit our professional shop? The shop is run by Gary Brown (PGA Qualified Golf Professional) who will be happy to assist you in purchasing items such as clothing, ball markers, bags, towels, balls and hats.
