Are you looking for things to do in the Yorkshire Dales? Artbar Gallery is a fantastic small independent gallery containing many of the works of Moira Metcalfe, a prominent local artist. Moira has had the gallery for over 25 years, exhibiting the evocative local Yorkshire landscapes. Her art is constantly evolving and she now does a lot of abstract painting. There's something to appeal to all tastes, so if you have any queries about the collection please don't hesitate to get in touch.

The gallery is also the studio where she works and does commissioned pieces of art. She also does limited edition cards and prints. Her original miniatures start from £65 and go up to £200. There are group exhibitions of abstract works influenced by Yorkshire landscapes and atmospheres coming up over the next few months. The first of which is in London at the Colomb Art Gallery, from 19/09/10 until 02/10/10, and if at all possible, Berlin at the Freies Museum between the 29/11/10 and 12/01/11.
