Aero club in East Yorkshire offering pilot licence training and accompanied trial flights. You can also book trial lessons making a different day out.
Are you looking to learn how to fly in Yorkshire? Hull Aero Club owns and operates Beverley Airfield, providing hangar space, aircraft hire and flight training. The club’s activities include general flying (light aircraft), microlight and paramotor flying. It also has an established group of aero-modellers and regular non-flying (social) members. If you would like to enquire about any of the training courses we provide, please visit our main website via the link provided.
We offer flight training for light aircraft and microlights. We also offer training for paramotor flying. In all cases groundschool is available and we have facilities for all the relevant written and practical examinations. A full outline of the requirements and the syllabuses we use is available on our main website. If you are curious about learning to fly, why not enquire about our trial flights, where you are given a basic flying lesson and an introduction into flying.
As a student pilot, you could be on the way to gaining your flying licence! Our trial flights can give you an insight into what it takes to be a pilot, and help you take the first step. If you would prefer to fly a microlight rather than our Cessna aircraft, we can also help you. With rates of climb up to 2000 feet per minute and unimpeded views, microlights offer a flying experience of an exhilarating kind.
Visitors will find Beverley airfield ideally suited for a flying trip to the Yorkshire Wolds and the coast. The airfield is situated in quiet Yorkshire countryside where you can relax, meet friends and enjoy the fun of flying. You will be welcome as qualified pilot, an aviation enthusiast or just a passer-by. All information about our courses, hangar space and aircraft hire can be found on our main website.
