The highlight of the tour is the 200,000 year old Battlefield Cavern. Over 330 feet long, with its roof soaring in places to 100 feet, this is one of the largest caverns in Britain. It contains literally thousands of delicate stalactites, which hang from the roof in great clusters. The National Park countryside around White Scar Cave has some of the finest landscapes in Britain, which will add to the enjoyment of your visit.

The tour will take approximately eighty minutes, covering about a mile, with 97 steps and two low roof sections to negotiate.
