The Hull Arena features an Olympic sized skating rink which can be enjoyed by all abilities. Beginners lessons are available as well as family only sessions, figure skating and more. Ice hockey is also available here and tuition courses are available for all ages. The arena can be hired for private birthday parties or functions and makes a great venue. As well as offering a comprehensive skating programme the Arena is also renowned as a concert venue, attracting some of the top names in the music world. Recent appearances include The Killers, Lostprophets, Faithless and Keane.
The Hull Arena boasts a licensed bar, which can be enjoyed during ice hockey games and is available to hire for private functions, meetings and product launches. Recently refurbished to a high standard, this is an ideal venue for any special occasion. There is also have a fast food café, open during peak periods, which offers a wide selection of hot and cold foods. The Hull Arena has lots to offer people, no matter what their age or ability offering a varied selection of events and activities for everyone, from the total novice to the more experienced skater or ice hockey player.
The Hull Arena offers six week learn to skate programmes covering everything you need to know to get you skating. You'll be taught by professional coaches and, at the end of each six week programme, you'll be assessed. You'll be amazed at how much you can learn in just six weeks! The Arena also runs regular academies for ice hockey.
