We offer three main trials in a wide range of habitats, with an incredible range of birds and other wildlife to view, whatever the season. With our five hides, viewing platform and our excellent pond dipping facilities, there is no better way to get close to nature.
We have a visitor and information centre, featuring a shop selling everything from binoculars and telescopes to books and bird food. A great selection of hot and cold refreshments is also available. Admission is free, although parking is £2 for non-members. RSPB Fairburn Ings is the perfect place for school visits in West Yorkshire, led by professional RSPB field teachers. If you're in the area on Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th June you're in luck because its RSPB Springwatch weekend! If you're a budding photographer with an interest in nature why not try our Wildlife Photography Workshop lead by professional photographer Paul Miguel on Saturday 5th June. On Sunday join our guided walk with the Fairburn Ings Advisory group to get the expert tour of the reserve and its spectacular wildlife.
