The Bar Convent is located just outside Micklegate Bar, 3 mins walk from the station, on the corner of Blossom St and Nunnery Lane. If travelling by road follow the signs for the station or use the Askham Bar Park and Ride and the bus will stop opposite the convent at the Odeon cinema. Please note that because we are Grade 1 listed we are not allowed to use prominent signage - look out for the gothic white portico, Georgian blue door and shutters and black railings and there will be notice boards on the railings - see photos on our web if you are not sure.
