Leeds City Museum is a fascinating, family friendly museum located in the heart of Leeds city centre with four floors of interactive and interesting galleries. Home to a number of fascinating and popular exhibits, the museum has six galleries including Ancient Worlds, Life on Earth and the Leeds Story. Come face to face with the Leeds tiger, meet Newyamun the Leeds mummy and explore interactive displays where you can make your own Roman mosaic, catch ants, try on traditional African costumes and much more!
The museum hosts a number of touring exhibitions and displays. The current Spiceworld Exhibition celebrates Brit Pop's most successful girl group with a range of collectors items and outfits worn by the girls and much more. After exploring the museum, enjoy a relaxing drink in the cafe or shop for souvenirs in the gift shop. Leeds City Museum is also available for corporate events and conferences, with two venues available as well as the galleries.
