In 1884 William Lazenby opened the Bradford Stained Glass Works. His skills were passed on to his sons and his grandsons and today his great granddaughter, Valerie Green, carries on the art and craft of stained glass at the Stained Glass Centre in Yorkshire. Valerie and her team produce new stained glass and leaded lights for churches, hotels, and homes throughout the country, and on your visit you may see Valerie working away at the light bench! We also offer residential and non-residential courses to allow visitors to learn how to create their own stunning artwork.
