Medieval Fortress in the Yorkshire Dales The castle is open from Easter until the end of October and is available for private hire throughout the year. We cater for school groups, offering anything from a guided tour to a full medieval education day, including costumes, a banquet and a range of activities. We offer themed events such as Sir John Savile’s Household Weekend, a medieval re-enactment camp. Our gardens are second to none and our ghosts are well worth a visit for any paranormal
