Visit Websitefor more informationWelcome to the Yorkshire Belle; Bridlington's famous pleasure cruiser offer the perfect chance to see the spectacular coastline and Bempton Bird Sanctuary. The original Yorkshire Belle was launched in May 1938 in Bridlington where she enjoyed her first time at sea following her trials on the River Humber. Sadly, she was destroyed during the Second World War when she hit a magnetic mine. The replacement Yorkshire Belle was built in 1847; weighing 70 tons and with a length of over 24 metres, the Yorkshire Belle can carry up to 206 passengers.
The Yorkshire Belle is fully licensed with a lounge bar and ladies' saloon serving light refreshments throughout the cruise. She is equipped with a public commentary system for pointing out items of local interest along Flamborough Head, and one most cruises there is live music played and an opportunity to purchase Yorkshire Belle souvenirs. The Yorkshire Belle was bought in 1982 by her current owners, Mr Simpson and Mr Richardson.
As well as relaxing one hour cruises to Flamborough Head, there are also special extended cruises to the Bempton Bird Sanctuary offering close up views of the cliffs, lighthouse and caves.
