Harrogate International Festival now in it's 17th year. An International range of artists, musicians, writers and performers at various venues come to Harrogate town centre.
The Harrogate International Summer Festival takes place in July. Offering an extensive and varied programme of music, film, theatre and story telling there's something to entertain all ages and interests. The Harrogate International is the North of England's leading Arts Festival and brings together some of the world's most inspirational artists, musicians, writers and performers to the heart of Yorkshire.
The festival takes place at a number of venues located throughout Harrogate Town Centre, visit the Festival Office on Victoria Avenue for details of all events and ticket prices. The renowned Summer Music programme features the best in classical, jazz and world music and the celebrated Young Musicians series has a rich history of providing a platform for emerging talent. The Festival has also become known for its literary programmes, hosting the criminally good Theakstons Old Peculier Crime Writing Festival – the biggest and best event of its kind in Europe.
The Summer Festival takes place in July 2011 and is located through Harrogate town centre.
