It is recognised as an award-winning attraction for its wealth of aquatic life. Discover the dramatic history and tale of the oceans in the world through presentations, fun interactive displays and spectacular marine life, including Europe's deepest viewing tunnel, a glass lift journey through our 10m deep tank and daily dive presentations.
2011 has seen the addition of two exciting new exhibits; the Amazon Flooded Forest which features turtles, ripsaw catfish and pacu, and Living Rivers which looks at five of the world’s major river systems and included piranha, blue poison arrow frogs, bumblebee goby, fishing spider and leaf cutter ants.
The Deep is open from 10am to 6pm every day (excluding Christmas Eve and Christmas Day). Last entry is at 5pm.
