Visit Websitefor more informationIf you're looking for a wonderful place to watch wildlife or walk in South Yorkshire then visit RSPB Old Moor Nature Reserve. Old Moor has two easy-going trails, both suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs, which give excellent views of wildlife on the reserve. Follow the trail around the ponds and picnic area to see wildflower meadows and a variety of birds and insects, or take the trail to the hides, where you can get closer to wildlife in a variety of different habitats.
We have five hides on the reserve and one overlooking the bird feeding garden, as well as two viewing platforms allowing visitors the chance to get close to nature. There is also a large shop at Old Moor stocking books, gifts, bird food and much more. We also have a tea room serving hot and cold drinks, lunches, all day breakfasts and home-made cakes and biscuits, perfect for relaxing after exploring the reserve. There is also an adventure playground for the kids, and a range of educational activities available for school groups.
