The Great Yorkshire Show is England's Premier Agricultural event and features everything from world class livestock to fashion shows. Gates open at 7.30am on all three days. The Yorkshire Agricultural Society is a charity working for the countryside and in addition to the Great Yorkshire Show, they organise and host Countryside Live and have an active educational programme that reaches children and adults. Buying your show tickets is easy online - saving you £££s on the gate price and giving you fast-track entry to the Show.
If you're looking for a great day out that offers you something just a little bit different, then the Great Yorkshire Show is the event for you! We aim to bring countryside to you - you'll see livestock, equine competitions, cookery demonstrations, hands-on crafts. Each year the Great Yorkshire Show attracts in excess of 125,000 visitors, why not join us this year and be part of it!

Your chance to see 'Search for a Country Catwalk Star', take part in the Woodland Photographic Competition. a wide variety of food and regional specialities are available at the Great Yorkshire Show. Catering outlets are marked on the map (see show programme for information). The show runs from Tuesday 12 – Thursday 14 July and Kath has entered her 19 year old mare Mellamaid and the filly foal which was born on 10 April in the lightweight hunter brood mare class. The foal is particularly special as she is the sixth generation to be bred by the family. Over the coming months the pair can be seen on the show’s website getting ready for their class which takes place in the Main Ring on Wednesday 13 July.
Baby changing facilities are located at various WC's throughout the site. See show maps or the programme for exact locations. Green Gables nursery is open from 8am-6pm near White Gate. A daily charge will be made for the creche, please contact 01423 567087 for more details. There are numerous free car parks at the Great Yorkshire Show. Please follow directions when you arrive at the Showground. Please note that we do encourage visitors to use public transport wherever possible to minimise congestion - we thank you in advance for your co-operation.
