Email Enquiryfor more informationThe Crown Inn at Roecliffe is a 16th century coashing inn which has been brewing and serving ale to travellers on this site since the 14th century. Located on the village green, we are just 5 minutes from Junction 48 of the A1m, close to Harrogate, York and Ripon. Having recently undergone extensive refurbishment to combine modern amenities with original features, the Inn now offers a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere where you can enjoy fine food and ale.
We use small local suppliers and the finest Yorkshire produce to create our menus which change weekly to reflect the best quality seasonal ingredients available to us. You will find our special offers on the chalk boards in all three rooms ranging from fish specials, home made breads, our own jams and chutneys and our own cakes and puddings. We have a excellent choice of fine wines available to you. We have a vegetarian and children's menu available and our extensive Sunday Lunch is available from 12 till 7 on Sundays.
Our recent refurbishment also includes our beautiful Coach House which is ideal for your function or celebration. Seating up to 8, the old Medieval cow barn is complete with truss beams, stone flag floor and exposed stonework. From conferences to weddings, pot suppers or shoot parties, it is ideal.
