Burton Constable Hall is a large Elizabethan mansion set in a 300 acre park with nearly 30 rooms open to the public. After a busy day exploring, enjoy a refreshing drink on our tea room which serves a selection of light snacks and sandwiches. The interiors of faded splendour are filled with fine furniture, paintings and sculpture. It houses a library of 5,000 books and a remarkable 18th century ‘cabinet of curiosities' which contains fossils, natural history specimens and the most important collection of scientific instruments to be found in any country house.

We host a range of events at the Hall including Easter egg hunts, classic car shows, country fairs and more! The Hall also hosts exhibitions as well as school visits. Group visits are available every day but must be booked in advance. At Burton Constable we endeavour to make family visits both worthwhile and enjoyable. It is the perfect day out for all of the family!
