Roots & Fruits Vegetarian Cafe is a light, airy and colourful cafe serving lovely vegetarian and vegan food, and situated in Leeds' covered Grand Arcade. The cafe is a very homely and welcoming place offering a range of vegetarian snacks, sandwiches and hot dishes, some of which are suitable for vegans. Students receive 10% discount on all food with an nus card.

Roots & Fruits serves a range of delicious vegetarian snacks and hot meals, such as pakora, chick pea fritters, sandwiches including mozzarella, tomato and basil, feta cheese, roasted peppers and pesto, and humous, roast Peppers and olives, Mexican bean and tomato soup, greek salad, haloumi salad, all-day breakfast, lasagne, falafel, burritos, pasta, omlettes, burgers, and jacket potatos.
