Located in Flowergate in the historic harbour port of Whitby, Red Chard Grill Rooms offer a relaxing atmosphere, a great choice of alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages and a mouth watering, modern British menu. Both Classically trained chefs, your hosts Lucy and Matthew have created their own unique style, where guests can enjoy a quiet morning coffee, a glass of wine with friends or a delicious evening meal with loved ones.

The restaurant is available for private hire, ideal for private parties and events. We can comfortably seat 25 guests in The Grill Room for a sit down formal meal and up to 60 in the bar and restaurant for a finger/fork buffet. We offer menus to suit all tastes or alternatively, we can create one individually to suit you. We are also available for outside catering, so if you are unable to come to us then we can bring it to you. We can offer canapés for your dinner party, a dressed cold buffet or the whole dinner party. (Minimum number/charge may be applied for private use of the restaurant.)
