The Bruce Arms is situated to one side of Masham's historic market square and is a traditional Yorkshire pub offering real ales and a selection of spirits, lagers and wines. Dating back to the 1700's this historic pub offers a warm welcome and a cosy relaxed atmosphere. On fine Yorkshire days, relax and enjoy a drink in the beer garden with spectacular views over the River Ure and Wensleydale and seating over a hundred people either in the open or under the new canopy.

The Bruce Arms also boasts an authentic Indian Restaurant serving a delicious of Indian dishes to suit all tastes. Rich curries, tasty grilled meats and fragrant rice are just some of the delights freshly prepared by the Indian chefs. A takeaway service is also available for those who would like to dine at home or at your holiday cottage. The Bruce Arms enjoys a town centre location ad is surrounded by the beautiul Yorkshire countryside. The ideal place to relax with a drink or enjoy a delicious meals after a days walking, cycling or exploring.

Unique Features

Traditional lunch fayre is served daily from 12 noon until 4pm. Choose from a selection of Gourmet Burgers, Delicious Pies, Fish and Sausages, or try something lighter and try our hot and cold sandwichs. We also cater for children on our Little Mites menu.

If curry is your thing, try our Indian restaurant the Spice Lounge, open 7 days a week from 6pm until 11pm. We also stock Ales from the Dales from Masham's local breweries - Black Sheep and Theakston, as well as a changing guest ale.
