The White Lion Hotel is a traditional coaching inn, with a 4-Star rating and a warm and friendly atmosphere. Enjoying a riverside location in central Hebden Bridge and dating back to 1657, the inn is family-run and well known for excellent food, wines and a wide choice of real cask ales. Proud to be included in the CAMRA Good Beer Guide, the bar is stocked with five regular, hand-pulled, cask ales plus guest beers from independent breweries. The White Lion Hotel is over 350 years old, and said to be the oldest building in Hebden Bridge.

The White Lion Hotelserves fresh home cooked food informally in the bar areas, from 12 noon to 9pm every day. The hotel's chef uses fresh, locally-sourced, produce for all dishes, changing the specials board according to market availability. The attractive self-contained function room, with its own bar and facilities, is available for parties of up to 50 people for weddings, conferences and other special events. Located on the first floor overlooking the river at the rear of the building our function room is an excellent venue for conferences, regular meetings, lectures or company training courses.
