Welcome to Humble Pie 'n' Mash, a lovely, traditional pie shop in the town of Whitby, North Yorkshire. We serve home-made Pie mash, peas and gravy. All our pies are lovingly prepared each morning using locally sourced ingredients. We have a varied range of pies including vegetarian options. From the quirky Haggis & Neep to the melt in the mouth Slow braised steak & stout, we are confident that you will be delighted with our home-cooked pies and will return time and time again.
Come and sit in our lovingly restored 16th Century timber framed shop and keep warm by our real open fire on those winter days. We are open seven days a week from 12:30pm - 8:30pm Mon - Sat and 12:30pm - 5pm on Sunday. As well as our full menu below, we also offer the following; Kids Favourites... Pie and Peas, Bangers & Mash inc gravy & peas, sausage sandwich. We also have Sweets and Treats available including Warm Chocolate Fudge Cake, Vanilla Ice Cream & Belgian Chocolate Sauce.
Our Menu includes the following. Slow braised steak & stout & leek, Lamb, Leek & Rosemary, Romany Hommity pie(V), Roast Veg & goats cheese, Traditional Mince & onion, Creamy chicken in Cider, Bacon Floddy pie, Haggis & neep, Sausage & Black pudding. All are cooked fresh each day and Handmade on the premises.
Well behaved dogs welcome. High Chair available. Eat in or take away.
