Welcome to the family run Lamplight restaurant. Located in the city of York and attached to Heworth Court Bed and Breakfast, we are open every Tuesday to Saturday from 6.00pm to 8.30pm. Our Head Chef of 15 years, Gary Moss offers a selection of freshly prepared dishes using local produce. A sample menu can be found on the hotel website. A selection of homemade desserts are available daily. Forward bookings are welcome and advisable at busy times. We are open to residents and non-residents alike and special meals can be pre-arranged in advance.

A whisky lovers paradise, our bar stocks a wide range of rare single Malts, from the smooth silky lightness of a Glenmorangie, to the pungeant grandeur of a Laphroig. We don't just serve whisky however, choose from lagers, bitters, spirits, port and brandy.
