All of our food is sourced as locally as possible, as we believe the best meals can be served only by using the freshest ingredients. All of our meat is supplied by local butchers and, likewise, our vegetables and seafood are sourced from local market gardeners and greengrocers and Whitby fishmongers respectively. We have something to tantalise all tastebuds, so for fresh home-cooked food packed full of flavour, The Hare and Hounds is the name to trust.
We have a lively bar and a very friendly local crowd. There is a quiz night every Tuesday.
