The Wharfedale Restaurant at Clevedon offers two superb dining experiences. The Wharfedale restaurant with its mouth watering à la carte menu and the more contemporary bistro bar. Whatever your taste you will appreciate the exceptional quality of the ingredients that we source from local producers wherever possible. Award winning chefs and exclusive menus offering seasonal specials are all served in a relaxing environment at this elegant restaurant & bistro.

Enjoy relaxed dining at The Wharfedale restaurant & bistro bar. Richard Benson, our award-winning chef, has created exclusive menus for you to choose from, with both healthy and more indulgent dishes. The restaurant serves food that's locally sourced, offering dishes with both classic and new world flavours. The Wharfedale restaurant is open Thursday to Saturday from 6.00 to 9.00pm and every Sunday from 12 noon to 3.00pm. Whilst in the more informal bistro, you can have a light meal or choose from a wide range of dishes perfect for eating with friends or whilst reading the newspaper.

The Wharfedale Restaurant offers a range of delicious dishes, choose from starters such as Swaledale Goat's Cheese with plum chilli and star anise jam, Breast of wood pigeon with sweet potato and sage crush or juicy Pan Seared Scallops with black pudding, pea and mint puree... to follow choose from superb mains such as Pan fried Gressingham duck breast and liver with stir fried pak choi, Free range corn-fed chicken breast stuffed with black pudding and apple farce, or Grilled lemon sole on the bone with a cockle, lemon and caper butter. Tempting sweets include Baked bitter chocolate cheesecake with dark cherry purée and espresso , Fresh raspberry and vanilla crème brulée with poached damson, tea syrup and shortbread or finish with a Yorkshire & British cheese selection with a selection of biscuits, quince preserve, celery and apple.
