Most of the Leeds hotels with parking are the popular chain hotels, such as Novotel or Marriot. If they don't have their own parking, hotels are often near safe, NCP car parks where you can securely leave your vehicle. If you'd rather leave the car behind, these city centre hotels are easily reached by catching a train, or bus if you are more local. After all, cheap hotels are less likely to have the funds or space to have a dedicated car park, or the staff to man such a facility. The hotels themselves will usually have pleasant outdoor car parks, with clearly marked spaces and disabled facilities. The larger ones will have secure car parks in the basement.  The elegant, historic Whitby hotels with parking offer private or on street road parking, secure car parks, or access to NCP car parks.  Parking can be difficult in Whitby during high season and bank holiday weekends, so please bear this in mind when booking. Extra parking is often laid on in disused fields for example, so keep a look out for appropriate signs. Bus and train journeys are often a better bet when visiting this seaside town.
